Edwin Ceasar Pinto

It is with sadness that we announce that Edwin Pinto passed away peacefully at the North York Seniors Health Centre on Tuesday evening, April 6, 2010 at the age of 92, surrounded by his family. He enjoyed playing bridge with his group of seniors and sang and played his guitar at family occasions and nursing homes. He leaves behind his beloved wife Anne, children Emil (Yvette), Eric (Jean), Aileen (Brian), Christine (Ranvir), Andrew (Joseph), and grandchildren Darryl, Shelley, James, Mark, Sean, Kevin, Robinder, Davinder and Alexander.

Visitation on Friday, April 9, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at the R.S.Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles Ave. Tel: 416-221-1159). A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 10:00 am at St. Gabriel's Passionist Catholic Church, 670 Sheppard Ave. East (east of Bayview Ave.), followed by a reception. (Extra parking at school on Elkhorn Avenue.) Private interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
