Eli Michael Fedak

After a brief illness, Eli passed away peacefully on his 84th birthday, August 7th, 2008. Dear son of the late Michael and Wasylina. Loving husband of Mary (nee Festeryga). Beloved father of Natalie (John Gergesha), Christina (Taras Hiltschuk), and Lesia (Bill Levinsky). Doting Dido to Nicholas, Ivanka, Adam, and Adrian. Dear brother of the late Ollie (Lloyd), Iris (Harry), Adele and Kathy. Dear brother-in-law of George (Barb), and Bill (Doris). Cherished Uncle, Cousin and Friend. Eli taught most of his career at Langstaff S.S. and was an active member of his Church and TYC. We will deeply miss Eli's excitement when confronted with a challenge and especially his positive and gentle nature. Friends may call on Saturday, August 9, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday August 10 from 4-9 p.m. with Panachyda Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 11, 2008 at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Ukrainian Orthodox Church (525 Morrish Road). Interment to follow at York Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anne's U.O.C.
