Passed away at her home on Monday, May 21, 2012 at the age of 84. Ellen, devoted wife of the late Emmett Patrick (Pat) O'Reilly. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Jim and his wife Bernadette Unka, Michael and his wife Jeanie (Grypstra), Dan and his wife Mary (Reid) and Mary Ellen O'Reilly. Much loved and very proud Grandma of Jason, Samuel, Joseph, Erin, Alison, Sean, Cathy, Beth, Melanie and Maureen and great-grandmother of three. Ellen is survived by her sisters Rosemarie McGregor and Patricia Miller. Predeceased by her parents Frank (Zeb) and Rose Doyle and her brother Frankie. Her beautiful spirit and wonderful sense of humour will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Friends may call on Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 10 am at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Ave.) In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
