Passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Anthony Joseph Fera and daughter Ella Gillespie. Survived by her loving daughter Noreen and her husband John Kirk, grandchildren David and Paul (Sarah) Gillespie, Michael (Shannon) Kirk and Nadine (Richard) Lamarche, great-grandchildren Shamas, Adley and Miles, nieces, nephews and friends who kept her in their thoughts and prayers.
Many thanks to the devoted staff at Elginwood Long Term Care Facility (Spruce Glen) where Linda resided for the past 9 years.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 17th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 10 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (78 Clifton Road, west of Mount Pleasant Road). Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
