BOURNE, Florence Elizabeth-Quietly on January 10, 2003, in her 91st year. Florence, was the first born daughter of the late Leonard and Grace Bourne. She is survived by her sisters Edna Ross and Ruth Pearson, her brother Wilfred Bourne and sister-in-law Mary. Also fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Leonard and Carol Bourne and their sons Tim and Connor, Meredith Lashmar and her sons William and John and daughter Elizabeth, and Calvin Ross and his son Nelson and daughter Emily. Florence was for many years the Dietician at Connaught Laboratories where whe was proud to be part of the production team that produced penicillin for Canadians overseas during World War ll. A funeral service will be held on Monday January 13 , at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles). Visitation from 10 a.m. with service starting at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
