Frank Lucia was born in Agrigento, Sicily. His tales of Sicily describe an adventurous and somewhat rebellious character, what with spending bread money at the theatre instead, and tieing up legs of grasshoppers.
He arrived in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in the late 50's with his parents and 2 sisters. While attending middle school in Toronto, he met his soon to be wife, Mary. By 1965, the two were married and began their family. Since he married at a young age, his father encouraged him to take on a trade. He began studies and training in upholstery, and his gift and talent rendered him a master artisan of his trade.
Frank always enjoyed the company of friends and family. He wasn't a chatty type, but rather a good listener; and when speaking to him, his words, even though out of a stern expression, always impressed quick witted humour.
Frank will be dearly missed, always loved and remembered, as son, brother, uncle, husband, father and grandfather.
