

Born May 12, 1947 in Parry Sound, Ontario. He later attended the University of Toronto, graduating Mechanical Engineering with the class of ‘73’. In his fourth year he was the proud recipient of the Centennial Thesis Award.
Jerry and Ardith Dyche (Ferguson) celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on February 14, and are proud parents to children, Edward Dyche (February 14, 1984) and Carolyn Dyche (October 23, 1986) who have been supportive through these many, difficult months.
Jerry worked as an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer for much of his life before celebrating his retirement on December 16, 2023 in the presence of his family while at the Veterans Ward, Sunnybrook Hospital.
He was an avid golfer, enjoyed traveling, and was always up for various card games such as Cribbage with his wife and Wizard with his family.
Jerry is survived by his wife Ardith, son Edward (Caitlin), daughter Carolyn, his sister Marg (George), brothers Bill (Kathy), Ron (Pat) and Bob (Karen), grandchildren Connor and Alice (Edward & Cait), so many other nieces and nephews and loving in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his father William and mother Hellen Dyche (Woodruff).
Jerry’s humour and smiling face will be sorrowfully missed by all who knew and loved him dearly.
