Gerald "Gerry" Leslie Griffiths peacefully passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014 at the age of 84 at Markham-Stouffville Hospital. Beloved husband of Phyllis Dorinne Griffiths. Loving father of Rick Griffiths, Diane Nicol (Mike), Sharon Dion (Pierre), Brenda Griffiths-Ford (Daniel) and Brian Griffiths (Mary Ellen) and father-in-law of Virginia Griffiths. Cherished grandfather of Adrien Griffiths (Becky), Nathan Griffiths (Nicole), Tamara Griffiths, Danielle Nicol, Maya Dion, Chantale Sindrey (Jamie), Nicolas Dion, Maleigha Ford, Ethan Ford, Emily Griffiths, Sarah Griffiths (Richard), Tommy Griffiths, Michael Griffiths. Dear great grandfather of Tanner, Samantha, Ava and Ryder. Brother of Esther (late) and Ed Lavergne. Brother-in-law of Don and Donna (late) Winch, Bob (late) and Dorothy Winch, Merlyn (late) and Helen Winch, Dennis and Gerry (late) Winch and Keith and Betty Winch. Private family service and interment on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Service of Remembrance will be celebrated at Markham Missionary Church, 5438 Major Mackenzie Drive, Markham on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 3:00 pm.
