It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ginesia Sisti on May 21, 2016 at Sunnybrook Hospital - Palliative Care Unit surrounded by her family. She is survived by her son Renato (Sharon); her daughter Lucia (Pasquale); her son Enzo (Rose); her daughter Ida (Nicola); her Grandchildren Lora, Nadia, Daniela, Robert, Ryan, Nicole and Michelle; her Great Grandchildren Zachari and Dante; her brother Mario; her sisters Concetta and Francesca; and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Always displaying a life of exemplary virtues, her strength, courage, compassion and love for family and friends was truly admirable. Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 8088 Yonge Street (North of Steeles Ave.W.) on Monday May 23, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday May 24, 2016 at 9:30am at St. Paschal Baylon Church, 92 Steeles Avenue West (West of Yonge St.). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sunnybrook Hospital – Palliative Care Unit.
