Passed away peacefully at home on April 12, 2011 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Mei Lan for 56 years. Loving father of Sian Devlin (John), Lian Taimla (Toivo) and Han Gwan/John (Laura). Devoted and proud Opa of Christopher, Michael, Jonathan, Ryan and Stephen. He will be held dear in the hearts of all of his family and friends in Toronto, Germany, Holland, U.S.A. and Indonesia. Giok Liong was a true gentleman who did so much for everyone around him. His kind and giving heart will be sorely missed. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 5-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Prayer service will be held at 7:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 10 am at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Avenue, north of Finch).
