Our hearts break for all of Giovanni's family.  Hoping you find some comfort in the memories you shared.  He was a devoted family man and was so proud of all of you.  We were one of the lucky ones to benefit from Giovanni's always encourging and caring way he had about him. A visit, a phone call, a Birthday or Name Day card; always so thoughtful and made a point of calling me when he knew I would be home. Each and every conversation he always was so complimentary and never ended the call without telling me how much he loved and cared for me and my family.  We've lost a true and devoted friend. Giovanni was more than just a Father-in-law, he was my Papa.  He welcomed me into his home with open arms and made be feel like part of the family from the very beginning.  We had a strong, loving relationship.  Often he would tell me that I was his daughter and treated me like one,  too.  I will miss Papa dearly and will cherish all the wonderful times we shared together, close to my heart.  Love you Papa.

Our sincerest condolences to Angela, Alfonso, Elvira, and families. We remember Giovanni as a kind, respectful, and compassionate man who loved his family deeply. We keep him in our prayers and wish you all peace and comfort during this time.

Giovanni was many things to many people; he was a friend, a dance partner, an advisor, a card partner, a confidant, a caregiver, and a father. But he was more than just my father; he was my role model. My father helped me become the person I am today and inspired me to achieve my goals. To do what was right over what was expedient, to be honourable, and to be respectful of others.

My father dedicated his existence to the happiness and well-being of his family. He provided us with the necessities of life. He worked hard and sacrificed much. He was the rock of the family.

As everyone who knew him will attest, he was warm, jovial and would always see the best in people.

As we pay tribute to my father’s memory. His passing brings great sadness, and together we share that loss.

On behalf of my family, I sincerely thank you for your condolences and support. 

Your kind words and messages bring us comfort and peace. They mean more to us than we can ever express in words.

Our deepest condolences for your loss Angela, Alphonso and Elvira. Your dad affectionately known by us as "the cumbaro" will be missed. Un forte abbraccio. Mauro, Lisa and Maria Di Martino..

Heartbroken that "papa" has left us as he will be missed dearly.  We didn't always agree on politics, current events, or sports, but at the end of the day I loved and respect him as we both valued the love of family, the loyalty of friends, and sharing a glass of homemade wine.

Giovanni was a great friend to our Mother. We always enjoyed the times we spent with him.  He always brought something for our daughters and always remembered them at Christmas and on their birthdays.  May his memory be eternal.

What wonderful memories we have of Dad. Dad lived a full life with his family by his side celebrating beautiful moments. The rock of our family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Giovanni was a man of love and compassion. Over the years that I had the  the honor of knowing Giovanni I felt the love he had for family. His devotion and kindness shown to  anyone who spent time with Giovanni soon felt the warmth he felt for everyone. Watching him  during family get togethers ,always with a smile on his face. I will miss out talks about our grandchildren and how proud he was of each and everyone. Rest in peace gentle soul .Your home with your wife. holding hands watching over your family and friends.
