Gord Lang

Gord passed away peacefully on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Hill House Hospice, Richmond Hill, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Marilyn and loving father to Kathy, Michael, Steve and Kim. Devoted Grandpa to Mallory, George, Matthew, Bailey, Jacob, Julia and Sarah. Adored Great Grandpa to Chloe. Dear brother of John, Audrey and Doreen. Special friend to Jill. Thank you to the wonderful staff of Hill House Hospice and Richmond Hill Retirement Residence for their loving care. Gord was a long time resident of North York and retired from North York Hydro. Gord will be remembered for his sense of humour, kind and loving nature, his ability to befriend everyone and his love of travel. Gord loved nothing more than sharing a beer and a laugh with family and friends. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. Toronto, on Thursday September 6th from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Reception will follow the service. Urn enichement will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery following the reception. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hill House Hospice of Richmond Hill would be greatly appreciated.
