Barbara and Family, although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are in my thought and prayer. Gregory will be remembered for all his laughter and joy of life. Cherish these memories and there will be peace. My deepest sympathy to you.

W tych trudnych chwilach myślami jestem z Tobą Basiu i Twoimi chłopcami. Chciałabym w tych prostych słowach tak wiele wyrazić. Ciągle nie mogę uwierzyć, że Grześka już nie ma z nami. Wspominam wspólne chwile spędzone w czasach studenckich i te beztroskie w Kanadzie, niestety należą już do przeszłości. Pamiętam Grześka jako roześmianego chłopaka, który nigdy się nie nudził, bo zawsze miał mnóstwo pomysłów. I niech tak zostanie. W dniu pogrzebu pójdę na Mszę we Wrocławiu i będę się z Wami modlić. Tyle tylko mogę zrobić...

I would like to express my deepest condolences to Barbara Kardasz and her family for the tragic loss of Mr. Grzegorz Kardasz. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.

Gregory, we may not understand why you left this earth, or why you left before we were ready to say goodbye, but thank you for being a part of our lives, for giving us such precious memories of you to keep and share with others. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

Like so many of his professional colleagues, I am saddened by Gregory's passing.  For those of us who has been in the business a lifetime, you eventually create a mosaic of memories of all the remarkable characters you have come in contact with through the decades.  With Greg, it was his extremely fast talking coupled with a heavy accent which caused most of us Anglophiles to have to listen very carefully when he spoke.  Sprinkle in some deep technical jargon and you found yourself thinking, "what did he just say?"  Hopefully, you have countless fond memories to comfort you remembering him as he was.  We all share in your loss.  I wish I would have had the opportunity to know him better.  He was a fine engineer.

Gregory's friends, coworkers and admirers here in Michigan, were stunned and deeply saddened by the tragic accident that took his life. Each of us shared a profound respect for his enthusiasm, intellect and heartfelt kindness as we worked with him on so many projects. Gregory was a wonderful individual. We all loved him and will miss him so. Death is a thief. Please know that our thoughts are with you, his family, in this most trying time.
