Peacefully passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, at the age of 88. Hans, beloved husband of Irma for 62 years. Loving father of the late Ludwig Vogt (2006), dear father-in-law of Patricia, cherished grandfather of Stuart (Cheryl) and Lisa and great-grandfather of Jordan. Hans will be sadly missed by his niece Ursula Vogt and her parents Erika and Reimer in Germany, his sister-in-law Ingrid Frey, his nephews Ralph, Norbert, his niece Irene and by all of his family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Private interment in the spring at Kettleby Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
