Passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013 at Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill (York Central Hospital) at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Edmund (Ted) Johnston. Loving mother of Eric and his wife Karen and the late Ian. Adored Grandma of Evan, Gregory and Kelly. Predeceased by her parents Peter and Esther Duff and her brothers Frank, James and Jack. Helen will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends, especially from Glynnwood Retirement Village. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 18th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 19th at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hill House Hospice (www.hillhousehospice.com).
