Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie at the age of 80. Predeceased by his beloved wife Joan. Loving father of Victoria (Rick) and Elizabeth (Andrew). Devoted grandfather of Natasha and Marissa. Edwin was a member of the GCC/IBT Union for over 60 years. Special thank you to the nurses and doctors at Royal Victoria Hospital 4SB Wing for their care and compassion. Friends may call on Sunday, November 23, 2008 from 2-5 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment York Cemetery.
