God called Ida Marisa Cappelli, known as Iduccia, peacefully on Saturday, January 26, 2019, just short of her 80th birthday. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving and beloved son Giovanni "Johnny", mother Michelina, Father Salvatore and siblings Antonietta and Antonio. Cherished by her dear husband of 50 years Paolo. Forever missed by her loving son Luciano " Lou" and niece/daughter Mary Palozzi (Nunzio) and family. Proud nonna to Justine and Ariana. Ida will always be remembered and held dear in the hearts of her sister Assunta and brother Giovanni and the many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who have been touched by Ida's kindness, generosity and love for all those she met.
Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Monday, January 28 from 4-8pm. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at St. Pascal Baylon Catholic Church, 92 Steeles Avenue West, Thornhill on Tuesday, January 29 at 10 am. Christian Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Resurrection Mausoleum 8361 Yonge St., Thornhill.
