It is with such sadness that on December 17th Heaven gained another Angel, James (Jim) Lynch at approximately 2:22am.
He was 82 years young.
He passed away peacefully in his sleep after complications from several previous surgeries.
He was a beloved and devoted husband of Susan Lynch and the most amazing and loving father too his one and only daughter, Amanda (Lynch-Palombo). He was also blessed to have the most amazing son-in-law who he loved more as if he was his own son, Dave Palombo.
Jim, was born and raised in Scotland but made the long voyage to Canada when he was just 12 years old with his mom, Alison Lynch (Baker). His father Felix Lynch unfortunately passed away at the young age of 24 in WW2. Dad (Jim) was just 2 years old when he lost his father. It’s been his life long dream to see where his father was buried in France so it gave us so much comfort knowing he was finally with his beloved Dad and Mom. Jim’s loving spirit is also carried along with many friends and family who have passed before him.
He was a huge car enthusiast and spent many days out in his garage working on his cars. He was always the guy to go too when it came to anything about vehicles!
It’s what kept him young..
Dad was a huge animal lover and loved all creatures, literally. He had the softest heart for his Shelby Kitty (my parents cat) & our little Shih Tzu Luna who was his Grand-Fur Baby. He always called her “Space Baby” and they both miss “Daddy & Grandpa” dearly.
Dad was never one for goodbyes. They always felt too permanent to him. Anytime I would say Bye Dad, he’d say it’s never goodbye, it’s so long for now. So we don’t want to take dads passing as a goodbye but as a so long for now and we will see you again soon.
We love you dad (Jim) more than you will ever know. You will be missed not only from us but from all those who loved him and cherished him dearly.
As dad would always say, I love me too..
We will see you in a minute..♥️
