Passed away September 26, 2007 at The Scarborough Hospital (Grace Division), Toronto, following a stroke. Jane is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Edward (Ted), and her brother William VanderBurgh. She leaves behind her three children, Liz, Peter and Mary, their partners Ronnie and Hans and grandchildren Christopher and Katie. Jane was born in Richmond Hill May 25, 1921 and raised by her aunts (Jen and Mary Rumble), later teaching and then devoting her time to raising a family. Jane will be remembered for her love of family and volunteer work she and Ted shared. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cummer Lodge or a charity of your choice. Memorial Service to be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday September 29 at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles). Visitation from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Reception to follow the service at the Funeral Home.l
