Jean Montgomery McDiarmid

Passed away peacefully in her 92nd year, at Aurora Resthaven on April 11, 2016. Jean's time on earth was full of joy and happiness. Some of her best memories were of her family cottage on Cameron Lake, sitting on the front porch, watching the sunset, or taking long walks on Grove Road with friends and family. Through the years, Jean was very much involved with her local church. She is now with her beloved husband Hugh. Jean leaves behind her sons Glenn and Scott (wife Gisele), and her 5 grandchildren Graeme, Chloe, Christopher, Katherine and Melanie. The family would like to thank the nurses, caregivers and the staff at Aurora Resthaven for the excellent care that they provided Jean during her time there. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14th from 3 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 4 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). Private interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to Spring Garden Baptist Church, General Fund (https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/spring-garden-baptist-church/) would be appreciated.
