In her sleep on Monday, October 6, 2008 at York Central Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband Tom. Loving mother of Sue (Bob) Sullivan and Chris. Cherished grandmother of Derek (Neil) and Elizabeth (Jason) Sullivan. Joan will be fondly remembered for her kindness and gentle humour by her family and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Feed the Children or a charity of your choice.
