Passed away on Thursday the 8th of January, 2009 at North York General Hospital in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Margaret (1995), father of Judy Patteson and her partner John Fruhwirth. Doting grandfather (Bapa) to Courtney and Ainslie Patteson. Dear brother to sister Peggy Welsh (Don) in Richmond B.C. and brothers Harry (Donna) in Richmond B.C. (2008) and Wyatt (2004) in Australia. He was always there to lend a helping hand and he will be remembered and dearly missed by all whose lives he touched. He loved his bridge and golf outings at the Thornhill Golf and Country Club where he was a member for some 40 years.
Friends may visit at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Sunday, January 11, 2009 from 12 noon until time of service at 1 o'clock. Interment, York Cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the North York Hospital Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
