Suddenly passed away at home on Monday, September 27, 2010 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Maria Adelia (nee Borges) for fifty seven years. Loving father of Edward (Helena) and John (Sandy). Much loved grandfather of Melissa and Jessica, Wyatt and Wellesley.
Jorge was a proud long time member of Sheet Metal Workers - Local 285. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 1, 2010 at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association.
