Joseph Howell 侯維露

Joseph Howell, 92, of Toronto, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2023 at his long-term care home. He is survived by his wife, Rose, his daughters Lana, Reeta, Angela and son-in-law François. He is also the proud grandfather of Andrew and Valérie. Before moving to Canada from Hong Kong in 1980, he worked at the South China Morning Post as a distribution manager for fifteen years. He then continued to work as a conscientious, reliable and trustworthy employee at the T. Eaton’s company before he retired. Joseph will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father who always carries a charismatic smile, a social butterfly and an avid shooting club member. He will be missed and remembered by the many lives he touched. A visitation for Joseph will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON L4J 1W3. A funeral service will follow at 1:15 PM, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON L4J 1W3. A private family burial will take place following the service.
