SVILANS, Joseph - Peacefully at Mackenzie Health Center on Thursday, December 27, 2012 in his 86th year. Dearly beloved husband of the late Berta, father of Peter, Ann (Paul) and Irene (Paul), and Gramps to grandchildren Katherine, David, Eden, Jonah, and Layla. Survived by sisters Nellija in Australia and Genia in Latvia. Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 8088 Yonge Street (south of Hwy. 7), Thornhill, Ontario on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 12:00-3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 39 Green Lane, Thornhill, Ontario. Interment to be held at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Thornhill, Ontario.
