(nee Evers) Passed away peacefully October 2, 2008 at St. Michael's Hospital in her 66th year. Beloved wife and soulmate of Lai Sum Tang of 38 years. Loving mother of Janeen (and her husband Matthew Brett) and Jordan. Throughout her 12-year ordeal with incurable Waldenstrom lymphoma, Judy displayed an inner strength, courage, grace and an amazing spirit which shone brightly on family and friends. She touched many lives and will be lovingly remembered. Friends may call on Friday, October 10, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Church of St. Luke Lutheran(3200 Bayview Avenue). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Michael's Hospital Palliative Care Unit(4 Queen, 30 Bond Street, Toronto, Ontario M5B 1W8).
