Kathleen Ella Jordan

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at North York General Hospital at the age of 92. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Arthur and loving sisters Alma, Jean, and Bonnie. Loving mother of Paul Jordan, Cathy (Leo) Wenstrup, and John Jordan. Cherished grandmother of Andrea (Andy), Mark, Michael, Selina, Anthony, and Tracy (Tyler) and great-grandmother of Oliver, Emerson, and Roman. Dear sister of Inez and Bill. Loved by all who knew her. Kaye was a wonderful person with such a zest for life and so many talents. Kaye was an elementary school teacher in North York for many years. She was an accomplished artist with a passion for gardening, reading and bridge. She loved spending summers at her cottage in Haliburton. Kaye was a member of Forest Grove United Church. She was an active member of the community, volunteering in various ways all of her life.

She was devoted to her family in an extraordinary way. She was an extremely loving and caring mother and grandmother. We are all better people for having been loved by Kaye and she will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 10-11 a.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the either the Heart and Stroke Association or the Covenant House.
