Passed away peacefully on June 9, 2013 at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre at the age of 89. Beloved husband of 67 years of Marguerite Isabel (nee Cockfield). Loving father of Elizabeth Bartlett (Wayne), Glenn (Barb), and Cathy. Proud grandpa of Erin Nguyen (Bob), Cathy Wilson (Lorne), Amorena and Alana, and great-grandpa of Signy and Audrey. Ken was a RCAF WWII Veteran of 23 missions over Europe. After his discharge from the RCAF he joined Bell and remained there for his career of 42 years. The family wishes to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff at Sunnybrook K Wing for their compassionate care. Friends may call on Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 7-9pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 11am at R.S. Kane Chapel. Interment to follow at Westminster Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
