Kitty Danielson

Peacefully on Wednesday March 5, 2014 in North Bay, ON in her 90th year. Kitty has been reunited with her beloved husband "Danny" (John Danielson). Left to mourn are her sons Derek Danielson and Robin Danielson (Liliane) and her grandchildren Tanis Danielson, Patrick Danielson(Jacquie), Michelle Danielson and Justin Danielson. Kitty trained as a British State Registered Nurse under the General Nursing Council for England and Wales. She was a proud member of the Thornhill Presbyterian church and a frequent contributing poet to the church's monthly newsletter, a philanthropic contributor to countless community and charitable organizations as well as a devoted volunteer for Thornhill Hospice and CHATS. The family will gather to celebrate Kitty's life on Monday March 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street at Goulding south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held at the R. S. Kane Chapel on Tuesday March 11, 2014 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff of Cassellholme in North Bay for their loving care and support of Kitty. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Children's Wish Foundation or Thornhill Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
