My most sincere condolences to Konstantin’s loved ones.

 I had the pleasure of working with him and see how he genuinely cared about people. He was the kind of leader who constantly checked in, not just about work, but about how you were doing as a person. He made people feel supported, valued, and capable, even during the toughest moments.

Beyond his technical brilliance, he guided careers, opened doors for others, and led with strength, humility, and positivity.

He inspired confidence, built strong teams, and left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to work with him.

His leadership will be deeply missed, but the example he set of kindness, mentorship, resilience, and optimism will continue to live on through all the people he helped along the way.

I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with KG over the past year. He was a leader I genuinely admired and looked up to. Even during challenging situations, just knowing he was there and had my back gave me a strong sense of reassurance.

He was always supportive, thoughtful, and incredibly inquisitive in the way he approached problems and people. It is heartbreaking to know that he is no longer with us.

What I am still struggling to process is a recent conversation when I checked in on his health. His response was, “I am doing great, and will be fully back to work soon". Looking back now, it feels like even while going through so much himself, he did not want others to worry.

Rest in peace, KG. You will be deeply missed.

Konstantin, I am still processing your passing. It seems so unfair. 

I will always remember your kindness and your positive attitude. And all the Freediving we did together of course. Seeing you win the Azul challenge here in Playa del Carmen after many years of training will always be my favorite souvenir of you. 

You now have your spot on my altar for Día de muertos so I can recall the Good times with you.

Enjoy the last dive, I will miss you  greatly my friend.

We knew Kostya, Alëna, and their kids for more than 20 years… meeting for Christmas and birthday celebrations, and sharing a few trips together. Over all those years, what always stood out to me was his rare combination of calm strength, maturity, and deep gentleness toward people.

There was something about his presence that made others feel more at ease. He approached people and situations with calm maturity rather than emotional intensity. Even in difficult situations, he carried himself with groundedness and clarity.

I remember one moment during our trip to Costa Rica, when there was a serious flood in their house back in Toronto. While everyone was stressed and overwhelmed, Kostya took a breath, calmly assessed the situation, and immediately began connecting the dots and finding solutions. There was no panic or frustration… just a steady sense of responsibility and reassurance that everything was figure-out-able.

Alongside that strength, there was also a deep warmth in him. It could be felt in the way he treated Alëna, their children, and the people around him. He supported those he loved quietly and generously, without needing attention for it. His care showed through presence and actions.

He also had a very special sense of humor… gentle, soft, kind, never loud or harsh. One of the things I remember most is how sincerely he seemed to enjoy seeing others happy. During that same Costa Rica trip, while we were taking surfing lessons, he stayed behind taking photos and videos for us with such genuine care and joy, as if our happiness truly made him happy too.

What felt strongest about him was that calmness and inner kindness. That quiet and kind strength is what I will remember most about him.

May his memory live on warmly in the hearts of all whose lives were touched by him.

Konstantin was kind, caring, humble and selfless. A good friend who celebrated me in my highs and stood by me during the lowest of lows.  He was honest and told me when I was wrong.  Gone too soon my friend. Wish I shared how much you meant to me and how much I appreciated you. Rest in peace brother

My deepest condolences to Konstantin’s family and loved ones. I had the pleasure to meet  Konstantin at a freediving competition in Mexico, and even tho I was a total newbie in the comp, he was welcoming, warm, and passionate. His passion was contagious. I also met Anton at that same event. Great guy too. I am saddened by his passing. May you Rest in Power, Konstantin. It was a pleasure to know you.

I still cannot believe Konstantin will no longer be part of our community. Thinking about his passing makes me deeply sad, and it is hard to imagine our dives without him there, sharing his positive attitude and passion with all of us.

Konstantin was an incredible freediver, among the very best in Canada, and he proved it many times here in Mexico at the Azul Freediving Challenge. But beyond being a great champion, he was an even greater friend — always helping others enjoy the moment, encouraging everyone around him, and sharing his love for freediving with generosity and kindness.

Konstantin, you will be deeply missed.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of KG. As an exceptional human being and leader at Accenture, he had a significant impact on my career through his guidance and advice on how to navigate difficult situations. Many of us sought after him to get advice even after he moved on to other roles in the organization. He truly had a way to see value in people, advocate for them and help them grow. He will be forever remembered for this and an endless list of ways that he impacted us. Rest in peace KG

Deeply Sad to hear about Constantin's departure to the heavenly abode. Had a great time working with him in TD and he was a very good human being and manager. Have nice memories from my time with him. Goon too soon, RIP my brother.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Konstantin’s passing. Although we weren’t very close, we shared many happy moments together that I will always cherish. I will remember Kostya as a positive, energetic, and adventurous companion—always ready to embrace new experiences. He was a loving husband and a devoted father.
His passion for diving and love for the ocean will stay with me, and I will think of him whenever I hear the sound of the sea. I may not understand why life unfolds the way it does, but I like to believe that Kostya is at peace, smiling, and perhaps visiting us in our dreams from time to time.

KG as he was fondly known in Accenture circle was a good man with great heart and strong business acumen skills. I had privilege to professionally work with KG during 2021 - 2025 at Accenture. He was always considered a mature adult in the room with exceptional ability to find solutions to some of the complex problems. Outside of work, we discussed many aspects of life including his love for diving. My heartfelt condolences to the family and his loved ones. May his soul rest in peace.

Konstantin was not only a remarkable diver, but a remarkable person with infectious passion, drive and kindness. He was beyond generous: sharing his knowledge and his coaching; asking in return only that you pay those teachings and kindness forward to the next diver. Many of us owe him a massive debt of gratitude for becoming better divers while training with him. Ontario freediving has lost not only an incredible instructor, but a model for how to nurture a community. He will be dearly missed.

It is difficult to describe the full pain of this loss—the grief and the sorrow. I will remember Konstantin as someone who could always find a reason to crack a joke or offer a kind word of support. A freediver whose achievements were an inspiration. A coach whose advice yielded results. A dive buddy with whom one felt safe underwater. A friend with whom life was never dull. Friendship lasts longer than life itself. Dive in peace, Kostya.

Konstantin was always looked focused and free when gliding below the surface, it was both a pleasure to dive with him and see him in flow. Wishing everyone the best moving forward

There are no words that can truly express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. Konstantin AKA. “K” was a dear friend to me and Greg.  Our friendship was simple and genuine. Loved our time together whether go for a  bite in a pub to going  bowling or go to amazing trips. I cherish all this memories together so dearly. He was loved by his family and friends and never be forgotten.

Words do not feel sufficient, but they help to preserve some memory of a person. Konstantin was a bright soul, a remarkable yet humble athlete, and a supportive presence in the water. If there is any solace to be found, it is that his dives have no limits now, and the ocean is his. May he dive in peace.

Every moment spent with Konstantin was memorable and exciting.  From Dubai  to Alaska, and local gatherings he was always fun and interesting to be around. I truly wish we had more time to add to good times we spent together.

I am proud to have called Konstantin my friend. Elena and Konstantin first came into my life through our shared passion for scuba diving, but they quickly became much more than colleagues in the sport — they became true friends. Later, I was thrilled to see them discover sailing and join our club community as well.

One thing that always made me smile was hearing Konstantin talk about being afraid of the ocean or open water, despite being an avid scuba diver, sailor, and someone who set incredible personal records in free diving. That contrast was so uniquely him — thoughtful, humble, and quietly courageous.

Konstantin was always fun to be around and often had a completely different perspective on things, which made conversations with him memorable and meaningful. I will miss our dives together and our late nights playing euchre. He brought warmth, humour, and friendship wherever he went, and he will be deeply missed.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Elena, Anton, and Gleb, as well as all of Konstantin’s family and friends. He touched many lives and will not be forgotten.
