Remember the good times we shared in NSB,Ft.Plain and Toronto with Georgette and Larry. Myron and Larry were golf buddies to the end. An Trish golfer figerine brought back from     Ireland is a reminder. Our St. Pat day dinner parties were always a toast to Larry.  When our southern trips became impossible, we stayed in  touch by telephone. Weekly chats were the rooutine.  The last phone call  - "Ellen, you and Myron take care."

I can't even say when I met Larry and Georgette.....I was a very young child, and ever since the Meehan family has always been an important part of our lives.  Having no family in Canada Larry and Georgette, their extended family (and then soon, Shawn and Sharon) were closer to me than any real aunts, uncles and cousins I had in Ireland.  The Meehan family, with Larry at the helm, were always there for us.



	There are so many memories I could share - all the holiday celebrations, the stories I loved to listen to Larry tell about Mosport Racing when he was actively involved with the pit crew, the six months that my dad and I lived in Larry and Georgette's house while my mom and sisters were in Ireland, the support he gave to my father while alive, and then to all of us in grief when he died at such a young age.....and many more but all bring a smile to my face now, in this very sad time when we must say so long to someone who will be so missed on this earth but who I hope to see again in Heaven one day.



	Shawn, I remember you only as a very young boy, but have heard many good things about you from your dad over the years and what a wonderful family of your own you have now.



	Even though I cannot be with you all in person, my thoughts and prayers are with you now.

Larry was always  a loyal and true friend;,  One could  count on him for a good time.  How we would look forward to their visits t o Fort Plain, New York   For many years, I served a corn beef and cabbage dinner on March 17th for the "Irishman".  Myron not only had a true friend but a golf buddy.  Our deepest sympathy goes to  Georgette and their family which he was so proud.  Our thoughts and prayers are with yhou.  Myron & Ellen Walton

Your dad was a gentleman, Shawn, in every traditional meaning of that word. Sarina had advised me some weeks ago that things were not well with Larry, but it was nonetheless a major sadness to learn, again from Sarina, of his passing. I know you were very close to your dad, and how proud you are of his accomplishments through the originating and development of Olar. he will certainly have been proud of you in turn for the company's continuing successes and good name in the Industry. Please accept my sympathy and condolences to you and your family at this bleak time, and take comfort from your memories of the many happy times over the years. For my part, I am grateful for the pleasant years of association with' Olar', an exceptional client in all respects. Warmly, Joe Stratford.

I met Larry when my wife went to work at Olar and found out almost immediately that he was golfer.  We played every other week or so for about two years and I enjoyed every round.  However, as you know Larry wasn't a big man so I expected to shoot better scores on the course but that was not to be...He always hit it straight and rarely lost a ball.  If he did lose one it would be an iternity waiting for him to find it.



	Although I haven't seen Larry for several years, I will always remember those times together.  Larry was a gentleman, had a geat sense of humour and was aways good enough to beat me by 1 or 2 shots.  Rest In Peace my friend.

I have know Larry for over 25 years as a business associate. Since his retirement, I had only seen Larry at golf tournaments ( a sport he loved). I was saddened to hear of his passing and wish his family my deepest condolences. I'm sure Larry will be golfing with St. Peter every day.
