Passed away peacefully at Scarborough Grace Hospital at the age of 86. Lembit, beloved husband of Ingeborg for 62 years. Loving father of Karin, Irma (Nicholas Harrington), Erik, Robert (Lilly) and Paul (Kristian Armstrong). Cherished Opa of Christopher. Survived by his sister Helgi Värnik, predeceased by his twin brother Vambola and parents Rudolf and Irene Schasmin. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 29th from 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Private service to be held for the immediate family. If desired, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
