Marcelle Bouchard McGoldrick

Marcelle was born in Quebec City to Albert Bouchard and Cecile Cassidy on November 24, 1935. She went to St. Leonard High School in Quebec City and graduated in 1954. She worked as a clerk for Bell Canada for 25 years.

Marcelle is survived by her daughter, Sandra McGoldrick (Eric Fraser) of Vancouver, British Columbia; her son, Stanley McGoldrick (Christina Godber) of Aurora, Ontario; her grandchildren, Sarah McGoldrick and Colin McGoldrick; her brother-in-law, Robert McGoldrick (the late Huguette Clement) and many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Brendan McGoldrick; her father, Albert Bouchard; her mother, Cécile Cassidy; her brother, Stanley Bouchard; her sisters, Lilian Bouchard McCrae (Brant), Simone Bouchard Boulianne (Marc), Aline Bouchard Herbert (Jules), and Cécile Bouchard ; her brothers-in-law, Frank McGoldrick (Marion), John McGoldrick (Eileen) and Edward McGoldrick; and her sister-in-law, Patricia McGoldrick Lavoie.

Friends may call at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Friday, July 1 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral service will be held at Blessed Trinity Church, 3220 Bayview Avenue on Saturday, July 2 at 10:30am. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Toronto Humane Society or The Freeman Centre for the Advancement of Palliative Care at North York General Foundation. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to North York General Hospital for their exceptional care.
