The memory of Margaret Kathleen Gillies, who passed away on November 11, 2025, at Mackenzie Health Hospital, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by her precious presence in their lives.
Loving mother of Christianne and Michael Mclaverty, grandmother of William Mclaverty, sister of Peter and John Gillies, faithful and loving wife of Noel Jaikaran, she will be dearly missed by all.
Margie was a woman of faith, who from her early years was involved in Christian Ministry in the local church as well as serving in missions overseas.
She was a woman of prayer who lived her life in full dependence on God.
Her life verse was Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Margie was an accomplished artist and loved photography. She enjoyed walking in "Old Thornhill", and reflecting on the wonderful times spent there in her childhood.
Margie is now with Jesus and will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and loved ones.
