Passed away on February 1, 2014 at North York General Hospital Seniors Health Centre at the age of 81. Predeceased by her husband Wilhelm "Willi". Loving mother of Mark and Karen. Dear mother-in-law of Jenny and Richard. Treasured Nanny of Lockhart, Bronwen and Reid. Predeceased by her brother Alfred Baumann. Family and friends may call on Friday, February 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A second visitation will be will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Luke - Lutheran (3200 Bayview Avenue at Finch) followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at York Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
