

Peacefully, at Creekway Village LTC, on Sunday, May 20th, 2007 on the Feast of the Ascension. Born October 10th, 1917, she was the eldest daughter of the late Thomas and Alice Harber of Midland, Ontario. Predeceased by her brothers William George Harber (RCAF -- WWII) and Lloyd Harber. Dear sister of Marie Baker of Thornhill and Jack and Dorothy Harber of Burlington. Margaret worked as a young woman for Bell Canada. At the age of 38, she joined the Ursuline Sisters in Chatham, Ontario. Margaret made her first profession on August 28th, 1957 and Final Profession August 28th, 1958. She was known as Sr. Marie Lorenzo and taught at Brescia College in London, Ontario. After a brief illness and a special dispensation of vows, in 1969, Margaret resumed her career with Bell Canada until she retired. Her "joie de vivre" will be missed by all. Aunt Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the staff at Creekway Village for their kindness and compassion. Friends may call on Wednesday, May 23rd, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, (670 Sheppard Avenue East), on Thursday, May 24th, 2007 at . Private family interment, St. Margaret's Catholic Cemetery, Midland, Ontario, at a later date.
