Marie Donna Densmore

It is with great sadness that the family announce the death of Marie Donna Densmore in her 89th year. She died peacefully with her children by her side. Marie is now with her loving husband Patrick with our dear Lord in Heaven, along with her beloved parents Bernard and Katherine Quinto, and her dear brother Joseph. She will always be remembered for the love she had for her family, her strength, her courage and zest for life. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who always had a strong commitment to her family whom she was so proud of and loved so dearly. Loving mother of Kathryn Tanguay, Larry Densmore and wife Valerie, John Densmore and wife Suzanne, and Joseph Densmore and wife Christine. Dear grandmother of Matthew and Nicholas Tanguay, Derek and Brent Densmore, Renai Stewart and husband John, Colleen Smith and husband Chris, and Lawren Densmore. Great grandmother to David and James Stewart, and Aiden, Joseph, and Brayan Tanguay. She is survived by her sisters Elvera Lamie, Frances Howlett and Bernice Holmes, and sisters-in-law Florence Densmore and Verda Roche, and her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Marie will be be deeply missed by her many friends, The Club Girls, the Humber Heights Family, Clarissa neighbours and her colleagues at the Children's Aid Society. Friends may call on Friday, June 26, 2009 from 1 - 4 & 6 - 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at St. Mary Immaculate Roman Catholic Church (10295 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. If desired donations may be made to the Childrens Aid Society.
