I sit next to your picture in Records every day now boss man.  Your warm smile always makes me smile back...although I must look like a crazy person I enjoy having you watching over us as we work.

You are still missed.

To the Grant and Neal Family, having worked with Mark for the better part of 21 years, I can tell you that I cherished every conversation with him because he was such a genuine person.  I loved that he never called me Cathy, it was always by the nickname he gave me, "Hooks" and it always brought a smile to my face.  We have all lost a wonderful human being, a person so special that God must have needed him to fill a special place.  I'm so terribly sorry for your loss, for our loss here at work.  They say the measure of how much you cared about someone is shown in your grief.  I haven't stopped crying yet.  Take Care and know we miss him, so very, very much.  Cathy Madden #5166 (Hooks).

I have known Mark for over 17 years now as an Auxiliary officer with YRP and I can tell you that from the first day that I met him and worked with him, he was a gentleman and a great officer. He always showed me the same respect that he would show anyone he worked with and it was always a good day to be around him. I knew  Mark back in the days when we took swimming lessons at St. Clair Pool.  Unfortunately we lost contact after high school but it is wonderful to know he had such a successful career with York Region Police.

You should be proud of his accomplishments ... unfortunately he was taken from you far too early.
