Mary Margaret Archibald Nisbet

With her trademark determination, Mary ensured her illness would not interfere with her and her family's enjoyment of the Holidays and once her task was accomplished she passed away at home with her family on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the age of 78.

Beloved wife of the late Sterling Archibald and the late Robert Nisbet. Loving mother of Sharon and Richard and his wife Jackie. Proud and devoted grandmother of Corinne, Rosslyn, Dylan and the late Andrew Gray. Fun and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Mary was born in Stanley, New Brunswick the fourth youngest of sixteen siblings and is survived by her sisters Gertrude and Margaret and brother Donald.

Mary's family wishes to thank the many health professionals coordinated by the CCAC who made it possible for her to remain at home and especially her Doctor, Dr. Roy Blachowitz and her caring niece Linda Roy for their continuous support.

Friends may call on Monday, January 4, 2010 from 2- 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
