Passed away on May 11, 2014. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Lorraine. Loving father of John (Susanne), Sharon (Bob), Mervin Jr., Christine (Rob), Tracey and Darren. Cherished grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 6. Sadly missed by his sisters Doreen (John), and Betty-Ann (Raymond) as well as nieces, nephews and close friends. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding south of Steeles) on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 12-1pm followed by memorial service in the chapel at 1pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
