Born in England, Mike moved to Canada in 1948 with his parents Jack and Doris and sister Jean. Filling his short 73 years with friends and family, Mike’s great joys were golfing trips with the guys, many seasons of playing and coaching the Hogs and the Bellies and relaxing at the cottage and the bunkie. Mike passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 with Bun, Michelle and Richard by his side. He will be greatly missed by his large circle of family and friends here and in England. Visitation to remember Mike will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. with a tribute at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Movember Foundation or a charity of your choice.
