It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mirja on Saturday, August 6th, 2011. Beloved wife of Ian. Loving and cherished Mom of Kristina, Katie and Steve. Daughter of Erik and Marja (deceased) and much loved sister of Auli and her husband Terho. Mirja will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by Edna, Paul, Susan and Jon and her nieces and nephews, Sarah, Jenni, Tommi, Kiira, Miika and Elise as well as her many friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 11th, 2011 at the Agricola Finnish Lutheran Church (25 Old York Mills Road). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
