Following a valiant struggle passed away November 15 in her sleep at North York General Hospital. Myrtle was the daughter of Harry LeDrew and Minnie Telford Long. Myrtle was predeceased by her husband Wilbert Norman Willoughby. She will be greatly missed by her children Douglas, (Sharon) Gordon (Celia), Joan Debrie (Tony) and grandson Drew Debrie. Mom was loved and respected by everyone since her time leading girl guides during WWII through her many hours of volunteer work with the CNIB and at St Augustine of Canterbury church. A special thanks to the management and staff at Canterbury Place and especially all the caregivers at North York General Hospital. A funeral service will be held at R.S. Kane Funeral Home at 6150 Yonge St. at eleven a.m. on November 19 with a reception to follow. A brief visitation will be held Wednesday evening. A donation to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
