Predeceased by husband Bill in 1994 and son Stuart in 2012. Left to mourn is faithful, loving companion for 18 years Pietro del Mastro, son Scott and wife Kay, daughter-in-law Marion and Susan (Steven). Grandmother to Julia (Adam), Joe (Erin), Jeffrey, Peter, Kelly (Daryl), Ami and Grady. Great-grandmother to Jenna and Clayton. Sister of Rex (predeceased) and Jeannette Shanks. Loved by Vilma, Danny, Teresa and Anna and their families. A special thank you to the Hycrest neighbours for their support. Izzy loved her time at the Lake Simcoe cottage, winters in Florida and especially her trip to Italy to meet Pietro's family.
Friends may call on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 2 p.m. for visitation at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Memorial Service will follow visitation at 3 p.m. in the R.S. Kane Chapel. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Izzy's name to a charity of choice.
