It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Reg in his 82nd year on Saturday, February 20, 2010. Words cannot fully express how deeply he will be missed. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 57 years, Joan. Reg was the cherished father of Randy (Kathy), Susan (Larry), and Michael (Kim). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Christopher, Brian, Christopher, Ryan, Jackelyn, Megan, and Kevin. The family will receive friends at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of His Life will take place at Holy Trinity Anglican Church (140 Brooke Street, Thornhill) on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hill House Hospice (www.hillhousehospice.com) would be greatly appreciated in recognition of the compassionate care provided by their wonderful team.
