Pastor Martti passed away suddenly at the Humber River Hospital on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
Grieving this loss are his wife, Seija Hyhko, his daughter, Sandra Hyhko-Gooderham, his son-in-law, Andrew Gooderham and his granddaughter, Wren Gooderham. He will be missed by his sister Kirsti Varho as well as his many nieces and nephews and their children in Finland. His passing is a loss felt by the Agricola Church congregation and many individuals and organizations which he affected in the Finnish Community.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Agricola Church on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.. Viewing will begin at 1:00 p.m.. A reception will follow.
May Pastor Martti rest in peace in the arms of his Lord.
