Ricardo filled our lives with love, laughter, and a quiet strength that we will carry with us always. He had a natural way of caring for the things around him—whether it was tending to his tomato plants and growing vegetables, making sure the pet fish were always fed, or watching over his family with a gentle, steady presence.
His mornings began with a swim at the gym, followed by a long walk—hands clasped behind his back. He found joy in simple pleasures: playing Tetris, watching sports and game shows, and in a buffet with crab legs. He had a mischievous sense of humor, often pretending not to hear us—despite wearing a perfectly good hearing aid. And no matter how many times he watched Mr. Bean, he always laughed just as hard.
Ricardo is survived by his loving wife, Teresita, children, Marilen, Eric, and Maricris, and grandchildren, Angelou Joyce, Faith, Russell, Gabriel, Cristian, Jeric, and Erica who will forever cherish their time with him. His absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but his love and memories will remain with us always.
He will be remembered by his family, friends, and loved ones as a strong fighter till the end.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Brampton Civic Hospital, West Park Healthcare Centre, and Humber River Hospital for their care and compassion.
