Robert Ronald Vick

Passed away in his 67th year on November 1, 2016 at Sunnybrook Hospital. Beloved husband of Gloria and Daddy to Andrea and Deanna. Brother to Sharon Gingery. Son of the late Robert Vick (Sr.) and the late Jean Kennedy. Son-in-law of the late William Hajovic and the late Mary Hajovic. Nephew of Joe and Flo Vick (deceased), cousins Linda and Jimmy Vick, and other extended family. Brother-in-law to Ray and Anne Pitchot and Wayne and Lorraine Hajovic. Best friend to the late Teresa Wiecek.

An extraordinary, loving, selfless, kind, and hard-working family man whose unrelenting strength, hope, and faith was unparalleled. Robert will always be remembered as a respectful, sensitive, and generous man willing to help others regardless of circumstance or need. Robert was a humble and special man that will never be forgotten and always loved.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Ms. Natalie Loobie his longtime nurse and friend. Very special thanks to the committed care that Dr. Kenneth Jaskolka provided throughout the years and to Father Emile Jude for his compassionate support and spiritual strength.

A private family service will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Health Science – Trauma Unit or the Epilepsy Association. Condolence may be left at rskane.ca.
