i miss you man... you were always a bright light in a dark room and you never let a day go by without a smile and making those around you smile...it sucks that your gone and i really miss you man you made life easier and you were always a great man who never stopped caring...thank you for being part of out life's and thank you for making the jokes the laughs  and being the life of the party.. you are missed everyday by people who love you and we hope you are riding the halls of Valhalla being the man you are with Loki and Thor and Odin.  

I was thinking on Ron today and I looked him up on Facebook and found out about his passing. I haven't seen him for 15 years as I moved to England where I still live. Really sorry to hear that he's passed. All the best to his loved ones. He was a great guy.

I know this sounds cliche but I am intensely sorry for your loss. Having someone taken so young cannot be easy. He was a good man with other's interest at heart in our little geeky community. Thoughts and love with your family.

My condolences to the family of such an amazing person.

We only learned of his death through an announcement at the Anime North staff meeting on January 23.  Condolences on his death.  We are fellow staff members (we worked at Staff Registration for the gaming area). We remember him coming to our table to pick up his staff registration package each year.

I was very saddened to learn of Ron's passing.  We were classmates, a lifetime ago, in a program for teenagers who were too smart for our own good.  What I remember most, and admired most, about Ron is that he was - 100% of the time and in-your-face - uncompromisingly himself, and that he took not one ounce of crap from anyone, student or teacher.  In conversations we've been having since his passing, friends have said that he danced to the beat of his own drum – usually with his nose in a book, somehow deftly avoiding all obstacles in his path, stationary or moving, and at full throttle.  But more than that, he was a courageous example of what we could be and do if we just stopped letting other people define for us what it meant to be cool and started caring more about embracing our own potential and individuality than about fitting-in.  That was his gift to us.  I really, really admired him for that and I hope I can be that brave someday.

My condolences to Ron's family and friends at this sad time.  He will always be fondly remembered by all of his friends and former classmates.

I have known Ron for years through Seb and Todd as we role-played together. What I remember most about Ron is his ability to find the funny, and indeed absurdity, during our time together. I shared may laughs with this man. He shared his mind completely and honestly, which sometimes resulted in me hearing things I needed to hear, even if I didn't want to hear them. And although I myself did not know him well over the last few years, I will cherish the memories I have of him.

My heart and prayers go out to all who have been affected by this tragic loss, especially those close to him.
