Ruth Lesley Juriansz

Ruth Lesley (O’Halloran) Juriansz, passed away on Saturday, 28 January 2017 in Toronto, Canada. She was born in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia, to George and Ada O’Halloran. Ruth, an avid traveller and gifted photographer, worked as a nurse for many years in Australia, Vietnam, Nepal, Hong Kong, Thailand and Canada. She recently completed "A Kinder World", a book about her travels - see girlfromwagga.com. In 1968 she married Dr Allan Russell Juriansz and together they raised their children Peter (Stephanie), Andrew (Hayley), John (Kristen) and Frances Mae (Philip Lengden). Ruth is survived by her brother Keith O’Halloran and sister Norma Price. She is also survived by her husband, children and eight grandchildren - Frances Emily, Annelise, Alexandra, Genevieve, Scarlett, Imogen, Simone and Michael. There will be a private cremation. A gathering will be held on Saturday, 4 February 2017 from 2 pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 3 pm at the RS Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles).
